What if it's not for me?
Return it unused within 48 hours of delivery for your money back. It needs to be in its original packaging, with everything it came with. Email support@hami.co.za before you send it so we can set up the return. For a change of mind, the courier back to us is on you.
Do you deliver everywhere in South Africa?
Yes, and delivery in South Africa is free. Orders usually reach the major centres in 1 to 3 business days and outlying areas in 3 to 5, and you'll get a tracking number by email or SMS. We ship internationally too: the cost depends on where you are, and delivery usually takes 5 to 10 business days.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Defects in materials and workmanship, like stitching, seams, zips, frames and hardware, for the expected lifespan of the product with normal recreational use and proper care. We assess claims within 2 business days, and approved claims are repaired, replaced or credited. Normal wear, UV fading, heat damage, cuts, going over the weight limit, misuse and commercial use aren't covered. Read the full warranty
How do I wash my HAMI?
Follow the care instructions that come with it. Whatever you wash, let it dry completely before you pack it away, and store it somewhere cool and dry. After a beach day, shake the sand out of zips, clips and moving parts, and don't leave your gear in strong sun for days on end, as UV fades the colours over time.
How far apart do the trees need to be?
Roughly 3.5m to 4m apart. Each HAMI strap is 3m long with 12 loop settings, so there's room to adjust when the trees are closer or further apart. Pick two sturdy trees, loop a strap around each (they hug the bark rather than cutting into it), clip in and adjust until it hangs the way you like.
